Back home for X-Mas!!

I can't believe It's already December; I got back to Barcelona not even a week ago and in a few days it's Christmas!!! It's nice being back home after 3 months in Brazil. I've missed my family and friends and what a better time to see them all than X-mas!! I've also missed a lot my little princess!! My kitty Set. She's been with my parents all this time, and it's funny that seems she is not my cat anymore, my nephews and nieces call it "granpa's cat" ;)
The trip back home was sweet, no delays and no damages on the bags, unbelieveble but true! Actually I'm still waiting for Iberia to pay for a broken bag since June!!
This is the X-Mas tree in Barcelona's Airport that shows Christmas time has arrived.

Anyway, a bit of relax and cold weather it's always nice, specially if there's enough snow to go snowboarding and snowkiting!
In the Coverage part of my blog you'll find a report from when I went to Vietnam this 2010 that has been published in the Spanish printed mag. Surfavela on its last edition.
So MERRY X-MAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR to everybody! and be good if you wanna get some presents from Santa or from the Three Wise Men!!

WONW in Brasil

I guess you've heard about the sick event the guys from Liquid Force are running in Philippines, the WIND OR NO WIND event at CWC (http://www.windornowind.com/). I wish I was there right now to shred with them all, but I'm still in Brasil so I missed it this year.
However I decided I also wanted to enjoy my WONW event here in Brasil ;)
It seems as early winter is coming to Brazil too, very light wind today. I could only go into the water with my LF Havoc 12m and do a couple of tags. But then, BOOM, I had a buggy, a rope, an old bar, my lovely Bliss board and an entire lagoon for myself!!!
Here is the result, enjoy the ride!!

Interview in "Stance Magazine"

I just got interviewed for www.stanceplanet.com, Stance Kiteboarding Attitud, France. In there I explain how I decided to change my 10 years life working in a Bank to the freedom of being a Kitesurfer. In Stance they called "cojones"!!! hahahah, funny!

New video is online!

Hey! After two months here in Brasil I've edited a short video about me living here and what Freedom means to me, a word that could easily be replaced for the word kiteboarding in my world.
Check it out, I hope you enjoy the video!

Super Kite Brasil 2010

This last week end was held in Cumbuco, (Pico das Almas) the SUPER KITE BRASIL, a classic international kitesurf contest. I took part in both Course Racing and Waves, and the result couldnt' be better! I got second in both modalities. This was my 3rd year taking part in this competition but I had never manage to get into the top 3 since now.

In Course Racing, the Brasilian champion Nayara Licariao was the winner finishing first in all the racings. In wave riding I managed to get into the final after a not very brilliant heat due to the strong wind. But in the final, the wind dropped a little bit, and I was perfect on my LF Havoc 8m.
So probably this has been my last competition for 2010, the best year with the best results since I'm kitesurfing. I've been in the podium in the Kite Tour Asia, in the European Tour too, I was 4th in Thailand in the PKRA and I'm the Spanish Racing Champion 2010. And now I have to add my 2nd place in the Super Kite Brasil and the invitational I got for the International Kite Festival in China in August. I really think I could not ask for any better result in my first year as a professional kitesurfer.

I want to thank all my sponsors but specially Liquid Force, who supported me since the beginning and invited me to join since into the LF International Team.
I'm really motivated to keep training and to prepare the upcoming season 2011!
I'll keep you posted!

Brasil Kite Tour 2010 - Cumbuco

Today just finished the first stop of the Brazilian Championship. The event, sponsored by Volkswagen, was held in Cumbuco in a really nice spot betwen Cumbuco town and Cauipe Lagoon. It was a complete succeed as all the disciplines could be finished and the organisation, an example to be followed. I wish in Spain the events were half the one of this one.
For three days, the best riders from all the country and also a few foreigners competed to get the title. I'm very happy with my 2nd place in Course Racing, after the Brasilian champion Nayara Licariao, also one of the top 3 riders in the world championship ranking. A total of 7 races were completed, with 2 descards. I couldn't finish the last 2 due to a massive crash in the starting line at the end of the day. Fortunately, my three second places, one 1st and one 3rd, gave me a 2nd place in the overall ranking.
I also took part in Waves riding and I'm happy with my 4th place because it was a very close heat, and even I didn't win, I was satisfied with my performance.
So tomorrow I'll go back to Taiba to keep training. Next weekend is the Super Kite International competition also in Cumbuco. I hope to get as good results as in this competition!

Back in Taiba

It's so nice being back to Brazil after such a long year full of competitions and traveling around the world! It feels as being back home, actually it is my second home, as I spend as much time here as I do in Barcelona!
It's always nice coming back and see all your friends and people after an entire year.

I got to Taiba about 2 weeks ago. The first week it was a bit of chilling, you know, relaxing and just kiting an hour a day for pleasure. My body was asking me for a rest!!

This week I started to train hard again, lagoon session in the morning, waves in the afternoon and a bit of jogging either in the very morning or at the end of the day. In two days I have a competition in Cumbuco, the first stop of the Brasilian Championship. The level it's gonna be wicked, not only for the incredible brasilian kids but also for all the Pro-riders who are here in Brasil training. If you are around you shouldn't miss the action!! From Saturday 9th Oct-till Monday 11th.
And that's pretty much for now, just wanna thank all you guys for the support on my last video "Just ONE life". It had more than 12.000 views in the first two days, I really dindn't expect that ;).
If you haven't seen it yet in my facebook, you can watch it here in my blog.
Cheers!

Barcelona Fotoshoot- The Making of!

Yesterday we finally met!! Mai, Marta and me, what a team!! We've been talking about it since a long time ago, but I've been traveling so much for competitions lately that I have hardly been at home. But finally we did it!!
We met in Barcelona and we drove up hills to an awesome place Mai new. I'd never been there before but for sure I'll go back 'cos the views from there take your breath away. There's a bunker from the war full of graffitis and we thought it would be a perfect place for the photoshoot.

Mai was the photographer and Marta the stylist! At the beginning I was a bit shy as there was a many people there and when they saw us they just sat down facing us and looking at everything we were doing! But after a while I forgot they were there and everything began to be more fun!! I really enjoyed the session and I had a great time!
Mai is a very professional photographer and knows how to make you feel relax and comfi in front of the cam, and Marta, what to say! I love her sense of humor and she knows everything about fashion!

So here you have some pics of the Making Of and also a short video I made with my GoPro. The real pics coming soon on my webpage and fb.

Thanks girls for this great work!!

2nd place in KTE Swinoujscie (Poland) !!

This week-end was celebrated the 5th and last stop of the Kitesurf Tour Europe in Swinoujscie /Poland. Swinoujscie is famous for his beach with lots of flat water due to the the shallow ocean line.
For me was my second time taking part in the european tour, Austria at end of April and Poland at the end of August. I got excellent results in both competitions, getting a 2nd place in Course Racing. Unfortunately I missed the other three stops as my budget is not enough for assisting to the whole tour, so I couldn't get an overall ranking.
The forecast was not as good as we all were expecting but the single elimination in Freestyle could be finished and 6 races too. I won two races and finished second on the rest.
This is almost the end of the 2010 season competitions. I may go to Argentina at the beginning of November for the last stop of the PKRA world tour.
Now I can't wait to go to Brasil in about 2 weeks and I'll be there until mid December. It's really the best place to train hard and get ready for 2011!!

Weifang 2nd International Kitesurf Festival!!

This has been one of the most awesome experiences of my life. The adventure began even before the trip, trying to get the Visa to get into the country just on time.
This was the 2nd Weifang International Kitesurf Festival but my first time in it and in China too. A total of 60 riders took part on the event, 30 international ones (one from each country) and 30 from China. Like all events in China, everything was big!! Big Opening ceremony with thousands of public, and traditional dancers and fireworks; excellent 4 stars Hotel and big Closing Ceremony on the last day with many authorities of the country. And all expenses from the riders were covered by the chinese government. I want to thank Mr.Liu and all the people involved in the organisation for bringing me there.
What I liked most about the event is that more than a competition, was big performance where all the riders had fun, specially because we had really good and strong wind, agains all expectations. I even used my 8m Havoc kite!
On the second night, they brought us to see a show, the election of Missis Weifang. Another weiard experience!!

The most surprising thing for me was the way we, the riders, were treated in all moment for everybody; we were like Hollywood stars!! We couldn't walk on the street without having a picture taken, people stopping us and even signing autographs!! And not to say in the spot, I can tell you that I was asked to have pictures taken with me more in the days in China than in all my life together!!

On the arrival to Qingdao Airport, some people were waiting for us and drove us into Weifang city, about 3 hours from the airport. Each rider had his own translator that was with us 24/7!! My translator, Becky, she was like an angel ;) Everyday she made sure I woke up and had breakfast on time, helped me to carry all the gear, pumped my kites, helped me to put my boards together...I was even feeling bad because she was doing all the hard work for me!!

Everyday 3 buses took us from the hotel to the spot (around 45 minutes away) and then, around 5pm back again. The spot is a very singular spot, there's actually no beach, it's all mud, they are drowning the see to gain more land.

Even you can see a couple of pics here in my blog and in my FB and I'm planning to do a short video soon, I tell you that the images don't make justice with the reality; well, reality or fiction¿? because I can assure you that nothing there seemed real!

PKRA Fuerteventura

Another event of the PKRA is over. This time the competition was held in René Egli Windsurf and kitesurf Center. I got to Fuerteventura four days before the event started and I stayed in the north of the island, in Corralejo, training a little bit. I shared appartment with 3 other girls that are also take part in the Tour. Then on Monday, on the registration day we went down to the south, to Sotavento.
It was my first time ever kiting in that spot and the place is really nice, an endless sand beach with turquaise water but the conditions there were super hard! Gusty and strong as i've never kited before. Those were really extream conditions!! Next time I go there I'll try to arrive there 3 or 4 days before and get use to it.

A total of 12 races were done. I was way too overpowered even with my 6m Havoc kite. I ended up in 6th place. I'm not happy neither with my results in freestyle. The hard conditions (which I am not used to) added to the tireness of doing 3 or 4 races a day made me perform a really bad heat. But this has given me motivation to keep training hard.
Now i'm gonna be back at home around a week and the 17th August i'm heading up to CHINA!!!! yeah, I just got the invitational to the China Binhai Weifang China 2nd International Kitesurfing Invitational Tournament!!! So stoked!!! They choose 1 rider from each country up to 30 riders. I'm so excited about it!!

PKRA St.Peter Ording (Germany)

It's been 10 long days of competition in Germany, probably the longest event of the PKRA. It is hard to be competing for such a long period, specially if you're doing both disciplines (freestyle and Racing) 'cos you're never released.
The competition started with a couple of very light wind days, so the races were started on the water with only 6 knots. For X-Mas i'll ask Santa for a 15m kite!!! I couldn't even finish all the races with my 12m when all the others riders were using a 15-16 and even 17m kites!
We also had one day of no wind. It was fun making some pics with some of the girls!!
My first heat in Freestyle was against Asia Litwin, defenetly not an easy one. Her first trick was a Slim-chance, so from that moment I had no pressure at all, so I just had enjoyed my heat! The wind dropped a lot but I could land a railey to blind and a backroll surf pass. So even I didn't go through I was happy with my performance.
On the double elimination I had no luck at all. In the minute 3 of it, the quick release of my harness opened and I lost my kite...so that was it.

On the other hand, I had a really great time with the German LF Family!! Thanks Mischa for picking me up at the airport and for the fantastic tour by bike in Hamburg, thanks Heiko and Karina for driving me to SPO; thanks Tom and Michael for everything during the event, thanks Jan and Nina for driving me back to Hamburg; and Malte, thank you for the night tour too and driving me back to the airport, and all the rest of you guys for making me feel like at home and teaching me some German too!!
Hope to see you all somewhere soon!!

SPANISH CHAMPION COURSE RACING 2010!!

This year is being awesome for me!! I’m getting results I Could not imagine I could get, at least so soon! It’s being only 9 months since I took the break from my job to focuss 100% on the kitesurf and here you have the results: 1st in Vietnam and Philippines in the KTA, 4th in PKRA Thailand, 2nd in KTE Austria, and SPANISH CHAMPION in Lanzarote!
And now I’m just back from Lanzarote (Canary Islands) where the Spanish Championship was held from the 6th till the 11th of July in Playa de Famara.
More than sixty riders from all over the country were registered in the event and I’m super stoked with my first place in the Course Racing event, winning 7 out of 7 races and also with the second place in Freestyle.
We had one day of no wind and another of super light conditions, which made impossible to run the doubles eliminations of waves and girls freestyle.

Here you have a few pictures from the contest.
Now I’m on the plane to St.Peter Ording (Germany) for the PKRA event which will take place from the 17th till the 25th July and where I’ll meet a few of the LF crew. I’ll keep you posted!

Getting ready for the Spanish Championship

Hey!

I'm just getting ready for the Spanish Championship. This past week I've been in St. Pere Pescador training hard for the competition. In the photo you can see all the gear i'm using this 2010: Liquid Force Havoc Kites (perfect for all styles: waves, freestyle and racing), Aura board and Aura harness, and the Flyworks racing board.
In two days I'm leaving to Lanzarote where the contest will be held from the 6th to the 11th in Famara beach. I'm really excited about it 'cos the spot is amazing, I just hope we'll have good conditions too!

Back home in St. Pere Pescador

It's been 10 days since I got back from Cape Hatteras. I miss the people i met there but It's always nice being back home and visit the family and friends. I've spent the last week in St.Pere Pescador looking for wind and training before the Spanish Championship in Lanzarote next week, but I only had 2 days of wind. I took the GoPro with me because I wanted to try it in the water and I made a small video showing my homespot, my friends and a bit of racing.
I hope you enjoy the video ;)

Life in Cape Hatteras

I've been here for 3 weeks now, and I have to say that the more I'm here, the more I like this place. The spot is awesome! Amazing flat water, fun waves and the best set up of sliders and kickers I've ever seen!
This is my first time in Cape Hatteras and I didn't know what to expect as this is a very popular spot in North America, but when I got here I realized this is a world class spot! I love this place!!
It's been crazy hanging up with all the LF team and with legends like Mauricio, Jason and Moe. They really push me to ride hard and motivate me to try new things as hitting sliders and kickers!!
Now I have the motivation to go back to Europe and do more of that!!

Getting to Cape Hatteras (US)

Last week I spent more hours in the airport than in my home!!
I've been traveling quite a lot lately. After Podersdorf I went home for one day before taking the next flight to Cape Hatteras, in North Carolina (US).
It was a very loooong trip as all airports were with delays and cancelled flights due to the volcano ashes.

My flight departed 1h late from Barcelona but the big surprise was that the flight lasted 2 hours more than expected as we had to go up to Amsterday to avoid the ashes. Once we landed in Newark airport we had to wait inside the plane for 40 min and after that, add 1 more hour to get through the customs. Obviously I lost my connection flight.
I met James Boulding, LF team mate, in the same flight to Norfolk, and the rest of the team happen to have also delays in their flights, so we all got to the final destination about the same time ;)
Two hours driving by car and we got to the amazing Liquid Force house in Cape Hatteras.

European Championship Podersdorf (Austria)

I just got back yesterday from wonderful Austria!! We had there the first stop of the Kitesurf European Tour, and I'm just supper happy for my results, both in freestyle and Course Racing.
I'd lide to give special thanks to Ronald and Julie for "adopting" me and treating me sooo good. Thank you guys!!
In freestyle, althought it is not my priority at all, I ended up in 4th place. I have to say that the conditions were not easy at all, as the first day, when the single elimination was done, the wind was super gusty and sometime with more than 30knots.

My great surprise was in Course Racing were I finished in 2nd place, after being 3rd the whole event. On the last day of competition, they decided to do the skippers meeting at 7am and we had the firts announcement at 8. Very light wind came but that gave me one winning race and a 2nd place on the last one, so I got a final 2nd place!!
The only bad thing about all, was that a jetski run into my 6m kite and they hat to cut the lines to relise it...
On the other hand, I'm gonna miss the next stop of the Tour as tomorrow I'm leaving to Cape Hatteras (US) for one month for a fotoshoting with all the Liquid Force Team. I'm really excited about it and I just hope Barcelona Airport will be opened tomorrow (volcano aishes). I won't miss indeed, the competition in Germany (Sylt) end of June!
So CAPE HATTERAS...here I come!!!!

Trip to North Spain

Sometimes you fly miles away looking for the perfect spot and the perfect conditions, and you don't realize you have it just next to you, in your own country!!

That is what happened to me. I've been travelling around the world the last few months, and it is true i've seen magic places, but for a while I forgot how wonderful my country is!!

One day I'll write about my kite home-spot, St.Pere Pescador (Girona), but today I wanna write about the north of Spain, specially Galicia and Santander.

I've just fallen in love with its countryside, its food and its people. We kited in O Vicedo, a small town with a huge spot in Galicia. Thanks Pablo for your hospitality, it was great seeing you after Philippines.

And on the way back home, we stopped in Liencres (Santander). You can see how perfect the spot is on the picture. For sure we're comming back!!

Koh Phi Phi Island and Pukhet Cable Park

I'm in the last two days of journey in Asia. After the PKRA in Hua Hin, we decided to relax a bit. After 3 competitions we deserved it, didn't we? ;) So we went to Koh Phi Phi Island for scuba diving, cayaking, and chill on the beach.
Unfortunately, the island has changed a lot since I was there last time 8 years ago. A Tsunami and too many tourists made the island lose its magic, but hey, still super nice place if you haven't been to!!
And after the paradise, one last day in Pukhet Cable park!! Oh my God, my arms still hurt!! It was our fisrt time ever in a Cable park and it was super funny!!but men, your arms work a lot in there!!

PKRA Thailand

The first stop of the PKRA world tour is over and I cannot complain with my results! I ended up in 7th place out of 12 in Freestyle. In the double elimination I lost my hit vs Angela Peral, but ending in 7th place (same as Kari)is not a bad result at all, and will be valuable points for the overall ranking.
In course racing I ended in 4th place but quite hard, phisically talking. 10 races in total!! We had 2 days of almost no wind and I really missed my Flyworks board. What I have clear is that I also need a 15m or 16m for days like that ;)

So now, and after 3 competitions in 2 months,we've just decided to relax in our last week here in Thailand. I injured my ankle so I need a bit of rest if I want to be 100% in the next competition (that's why I won't take part in the last event of the KTA).
A few day in Ko Phi Phi and back to home, sweet home!! ;)

2010 Boracay video

Check out my new video. Short riding in Bolabog beach in Boracay island + the KTA awards.
Enjoy ;)

Last days in Boracay and out to Manila

We stayed in Boracay 3 or 4 days more after the end of the competition. On Monday we went to Mandala Spa, a really nice-luxury massage spa and part of the prize me and David won in Vietnam comp.
We were supposed to leave the island on Tuesday but we had many problems to book a flight with Cebu Pacific, I really do not recomend to fly with them. Finally we manage to get a flight to Manila on Friday.
The 2 last days in Boracay the wind seemed to be back. We really had a great time in Banana Sagin Boracay Resort, we felt like at home ;)We're gonna miss you guys! Gracies Grec per tot!!
In Manila we went to visit the people in Barcino Wine and Tapas in their new restaurant here. It's sooo nice eating spanish food with nice wine!

1st in Course Racing and 3rd in Freestyle (KTA Boracay)

After finishing 3rd in Freestyle my main goal was doing well in Course Racing. I did a good first racing, finishing on 1st place, even I broke a fin on the reef. In the second race I decide to change my board and I have to say it wasn't a good decision...I ended 4th and that put me down to the 3rd place in the overall racing.
I knew I could do better, even with a broken fin, but I just needed another racing. In the following two days, they just focused on freestyle 'cos they didn't have a result for the Men, and the wind droped so they had to cancel the copetition on the third day...
On the last day of the event the wind seemed to be back, but it lasted just an hour...so they had to do a "kit-kat" again and when it seemed to be back, keep going. Finally they could finish everything and we had a result for men too.
But I was still waiting for my chance, and when I thought it was over, the best news for me came!!! One last Racing!!!! That was my opportunity to get back my first place! I couldn`'t do any mistake this time. And oh my God, me and Kathrin get soooo close at the finish line but I managed to get through first!! And I got my 1st place back.
So in a few days we'll be racing again in Thailand!! my only worrie is that I may not be able to fix my fin.
But I want to think possitive and enjoy the experience and the oportunity of being traveling and doing the thing I love most: Kitesurfing!!

Start of the KTA competition in Boracay (Philippines)

Today's been the third day of the competition and the first one that they had to cancel it because of the wind. Skippers meeting at 8am but no sing of wind. A couple of hours latter picked up a little bit so they continued with the men freestyle, but couldn`t finish it.
On Wednesday, after the registration, they started with the men freestyele. In the evening we had the Opening party in Tanawin, with some cocktails and a marvellous panoramic view of Boracay.

On the second day of the competition, we kept going with freestyle. This time was my turn in freestyle. In semi-finals, unfortunately I sent a powerful s-bend (too close to the sand) and althought I landed in the water, there is just 5 or 6 metres of sand and due to the strong wind my poor little kite landed on some palm trees above the judge tower. Believe it or not, It didn't break at all!! My boyfriend was waiting with my 6m on the air, so he just pass it to me and I could keep going with the heat, but I was too underpowered and coulnd't do any tricks. So this is how I lost my heat.
I passed the next round on the second chance, so that leaded me to the heat to get 2nd or 3rd place. I'm happy with my performance there: my first trick was a nice railey to blind, followed by the S-bend you can see in the picture. But the judges decided that an F-16 counts more than a railey to blind¿? So here ended my freestyle competition with a third place.

In the evening they brought us to a really nice restaurant in front of the beach, for dinner with the governers of Philippines, with sea views and magnificent food!! We got there performing a funny "comparsa" all riders with the flag of their country.
I'm really excited to see what have they prepared for us tonight!!

KTA Vietnam

Congrats KTA for the amazing organiztion event. That was the third Kiteboard Tour Asia stop and one of the best I've been to! A total of 70 riders toke part in the competition in the vietnamise spot of Mui Ne,coming from 18 different countries.
We had nice wind 3 out of 4 days, and light but enough wind for course racing on the last day.
Day one started in the afternoon after registration, with a short two laps racing. Due to the many riders registered, men course racing was divided into 2 groups, so they had to do 4 racings to have one single result. It was easier for us girls, as we were 12 we went all in the same race.
I did a mistake when I was heading the first lap that put me back to the 4th place, but fortunately I managed to finish on the second place at last.
The following two days priority was freestyle. They used the "Second Chance" method to get simple and double results, and I have to say that I really liked it. I think is the most fair system I've seen by now. You have to loose twice to be out.
I didn't start well my freestyle comp. I lost my heat against the vietnamise rider Julia. We performed quite similar heats but I have to say she did better.
On my second heat I ride against Ali from Australia (second in the KTA ranking). I beat her with a powerful unhook kiteloop almost at the end. My last heat was against the leader of the freestyle tour Kathrin B. A mistake on the timing made us repeat our heat (as it was the women final it was supposed to be a 10 min. heat instead of a 7 min. heat). Althought I lost, I was happy about my performance 'cos it wasn't easy at all performing unkhook stuff and surfpasses with the strong wind and supper choppy conditions.
On the third day, after the double elimination of freestyle was completed, we did the "Big Air" competition. You always get great fun with strong winds!
On Sunday, last day of competition, the wind was very light, so at 14h when it seemed to rise a little bit, another course racing was heald. This time I knew I could do any mistakes. My start, surpriseling for me, was really good! but after missing a few turns on the board, Kathrin was heading the race. It was just until the last tag that I couldn't reach her and I won almost on the finish line.
So my final results were:
1st in Course Racing
2nd in Freestyle
Now I'm really excited about going to Philippines. I've heard it is an amazing spot and I can wait to see all the nice riders I met in Vietnam!

Getting to Vietnam

I just left Barcelona on Saturday 23rd January but I had to take a few planes and spend a couple of nights at airports before I reached Vietnam. I flew from barcelona airport to Gatwich (London). . I spent my first night there as the connection flight wasn't until the following morning. I feel super lucky I can travel with my boyfriend David, so I don't spend the unfinishable hours alone in airports.
We got up and went straight to the Qatar Airways desk to do our check-in. And what happend there??? We had 11kg of extra bagagge and they wanted us to pay the scary amount of 560 English Pounds!!!!!! (only 20kg allowed per person). As a kitesurfer, you will know that it is almost impossible to carry only 20kg in gear when you're heading to a competition and your plans are to travel for at least 2 months!! Anyway, don´t ask me how, but we manage not to pay a single penny (thanks Sir from Qatar A.), probably they saw our faces went white and that we really couldn´t afford that.
We got to Doha (Qatar) that same night. We had a 13 hours transfer, so there it came our second night in the airport. We had a dinner budget from the company and there was also free internet in there.
On the third day of travel we got to Saigon (Ho Chi Mi -Vietnam). We decided to spend one night there as we really needed a shower and we still had 4 or 5 hours driving to our final destination.
Saigon is a kaotic city (as any other big asiatic city, I guess), with as many motorbikes as cars, and driving crazy and "pitant" every single second.
We find a nice clean and cheap backpackers to stay that night. The lady from the hostel booked us bus for the following day that took us to Mui Ne. We had a nice surprise to see that we were gonna spend the next 5 hours in a nice, confortable bus ;). And finally, four days after, we got to Mui Ne!!
One day to settle down and the KTA contest starts!!

I FEEL THE EFFECTS!!!!

It's just amazing!! I cannot explain the feeling, I just know it works! When I wear the EFX wristband I feel more balanced, stronger and my flexibility increases!
I use it when I'm kitesurfing and the results are obvious. I was working on a trick for a long time and I had problems reaching the bar...I tried the same trick with the EFX wristband and I cought it!
So I just tell you that If you have the opportunity, try it! Try the EFX effects and you'll see it by yourself.
Now I understand why most of the Pro Riders were wearing it on competition!
